What Our Advertisers Are Saying

We always look forward to the arrival of the Guide to see what items of interest you and your staff have come up with.

Our numbers have been up 37% for July and August 2004 over the same period in 2003. The Shenandoah Valley Guide has been a major factor in the increase. We appreciate your efforts.

We're reflecting on the past season (although we still have a couple of weeks left) and realize how fortunate our business has been to have the Shenandoah Valley Guide in production. It's one thing to have an idea for a publication, but to actually produce such a fine publication...and to get it out in front of patrons on a consistent basis...is truly amazing.

And we know it works...our clientele show up at our park with the Shenandoah Valley Guide on their dashboard. In a year when many, many businesses have had a double digit decline in business, we have experienced double digit growth. I don't know why any business within your advertising range would not now advertise in the Guide. Is it expensive?...How expensive is a decrease in gross sales by not advertising? All you have to do is put pen to paper and figure out how extensive the coverage is for the price. Our ads within the Guide have paid for themselves many times over.

Thanks for a quality publication...as long as you keep publishing we'll keep advertising.

The first co-op travel ad Harrisonburg has ever done was with the first issue of the Shenandoah Valley Guide. I have heard from local business owners that they have benefited from increased visitation, a result of the attractive advertising.

The Shenandoah Valley Guide has balanced just the right mix of editorial and advertisement to make an informative publication for visitors to the Valley. We are constantly re-stocking the Guide here at our Visitors Center—it's flying off the shelf!

We would like to take a moment to let you know how pleased we are with our adverisement in your new publication, the Shenandoah Valley Guide.

We are very pleased with the ad quality that is produced and we have had very good experiences working with your Ad Manager and your Art Director.

Of all the publications we advertise in, we get more comments from people saying they saw us in the Shenandoah Valley Guide than any other. Not only have we found this to be a good advertising medium, but we have enjoyed the articles as well. Being relative newcomers to the area, we've learned a great many things about nearby locations!

Keep up the good work! Good luck in the upcoming year.
